The above development of Xenoton LLC is suitable for the illumination of 
all the film-prints running at present, as well as of the new 
blue-coloured optical soundtrack. The adapter is being built into the 
place of the original soundlamp socket and can be applied for Meopta or 
FITE 35mm cinema projectors. Xenoton red laser modul is extraordinarily 
suitable for MEO5X, MEOIV, or FITE projectors, for all sound- systems. 
The laser operates from the own soundlamp power-supply of the projector, 
no alteration is needed in the projector for the installation. Duration 
of the laser = ~10.000-20.000 hours With the above solution, films with 
new, BLUE-coloured soundtrack, as well as all of the films having been 
issued up till now, can be projected in a good quality. There is no 
difference in the volume using the laser adapter, while playing the 
various coloured soundtracks. The analogue sound reading unit ? being 
transformed for the red laser illumination - produces a measurably and 
audibly better sound quality than the traditional soundlamp. The 
measuring values correspond with the manufacturing specifications of 
Dolby and other sound processors, just as with the regulations 
concerning film-sound transmission of ISO and SMPTE.
