The D.A.D. Real Time Imaging (RTI) system uses state-of-the art TI DSP
64xx DSP chips running at over 1 GHz.  All programming is done using
TI's Code Composer in assembler to maximize processing speed (C does
not provide the needed processing throughput).  RTI also employs two
Panasonic CCD production-quality camera units, with customized control
boards.
