Szerintem tudja a CTS/RTS nelkul is szinkronizalni, mert bufferek vannak
mindket oldalon. A sima RS232-nel is be lehet allitani a SW handshake-et,
amikor csak RX es TX jelek vannak.
En a TUSB3410-et nezegettem a Texastol, ennek megvan az osszes modemvezerlo
vezeteke:
- Modem-control functions (CTS, RTS, DSR, DTR, RI, and DCD)
Ugyanebben az adatlapban irjak meg, hogy:
Software/hardware flow control:
- Programmable Xon/Xoff characters
- Programmable Auto-RTS/DTR and Auto-CTS/DSR

valamint:
3.5.1 RS-232 Data Mode
The default mode is called the RS-232 mode, and is usually used for full
duplex communication on SOUT and SIN. In this mode, the modem control
outputs (RTS and DTR) are used to communicate to a modem or as general
outputs. The modem control inputs (CTS, DSR, DCD, and RI) are used for modem
communication or as general inputs. Alternatively, RTS and CTS (or DTR and
DSR) can be used to throttle the data flow on SOUT and SIN to prevent
receive fifo overruns. Finally, software flow control via Xoff/Xon
characters can be used for the same purpose. This mode represents the most
general-purpose applications, and the other modes are subsets of this mode.

Szoval ha ilyen IC lenne benne, akkor az nagy esellyel kezelne a
modemvezerlo labakat is. Emellett meg a driver is bekavarhat, a Texas
driveret letoltottem, de meg nem neztem meg, hogy mit tud.
Asszem beszerzek egy ilyen IC-t. Tud IrDA-t, I2C-t, RS232/RS485-ot, plusz
van 4 szabadon hasznalhato I/O portja. Es a Texas ingyen mintat is kuld :)
