A levél végén meg egy kis idézet.

Bocs egyébként a sok kötözködésért. Csak mi mar egyszer porul
jártunk. Meg a szerzői jogi mizéria hülyeségeire szeretnek rámutatni.

Szóval egyszer eladtunk 15 gépet. Miután egyformák voltak kézenfekvő
volt a ghost alkalmazása. Csak hogy a vevőt egyszer beijesztette a
BSA, mivel pénzük mint pelyva felkértek egy neves céget auditálja a
gépeket. A cég sajna értett is a munkájához. Ígyhát kibukott a
ghostolás. Szerencsére mindenki korrekt volt tehát feljelentés egyebek
nem voltak. Csak gép újratelepítés, klonozás linuxxal (na azért meg
volt egy kis munka az office meg a win serialok átírásával)

Ha ez mondjuk egy iskolában történik ahol egyik morcos szülő miután
megbukott a fiacskája számtekből bejelentést tesz, az elég gáz
helyzet. Miután ez értek határ nélkül bűncselekmény. 200 gépre meg
folytatólagosan elkövetni az halálos ítélet.

n> Azért az is érdekes, hogy mi van pl. a közös használatú HDD-vel. Vagyis
n> ha átmenetileg másik gépbe teszem. Illetve újabb kérdéseket is felvet:
n> pl. az image-ek tárolásánál. Nyilvánvalóan az image-ek se tárolhatók
n> akkor ilyen mobil adathordozón, vagyis ha a másik gépben van CD-író,
n> akkor elvileg nem tudná az ember leírni az IMAGE-file-t... Ez
n> nyilvánvaló esztelenség.
n> Ráadásul az image-eket gyakran HDD-n, szerveren tárolja az ember, amiket
n> cserélni szokott. Vagyis nincs fizikailag a gépben, mert a polcon van,
n> három másik egység mellett...

(i) use the Software on one computer to clone, or apply an image of, a
hard drive on that computer, or a portion thereof, to another hard
drive on the same computer, a replacement computer, secondary media,
or network drive.  If a License Module accompanies, precedes, or
follows this license, you may make and use that number of copies of
the Software licensed to you by Symantec as provided in your License
Module on an equal number of individual computers pursuant to the
terms of this license. Your License Module shall constitute proof of
your right to make and use such copies;

(ii) use the Software on that same computer to create an image file of
a hard drive on that computer and store the image file on removable
media for disaster recovery purposes;

(iii) use the Software to create a boot disk as described in the
documentation for reapplying the hard drive image that was created for
disaster recovery purposes to the hard drive on that same computer;
and

(iv) use the Software to clone a hard drive from that same computer to
a replacement computer, in the manner described in the software
documentation, and to use the Software on the replacement computer
provided that the Software has been removed from the original
computer.
