d) Bypass each LVDS device and also use distributed bulk capacitance.
Surface mount capacitors
placed close to power and ground pins work best.
Power Supply: A 4.7µF or 10µF 35V tantalum capacitor works well between
supply and ground.
Choosing a capacitor value which best filters the largest power/ground
frequency components
(usually 100 to 300MHz) is best. This can be determined by checking the
noise spectrum of V CC
across bypass capacitors. The voltage rating of tantalum capacitors is
critical and must not be less
than 5 x V CC . Some electrolytic capacitors also work well.
