Show (CES) takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On Thursday, January 7, at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Commodore 
had five C-64 computers on display for the first time. They feature a 6510 processor, 
64KB RAM, 20KB ROM and Microsoft BASIC as well as custom sound and 16 color 
graphics with an MSRP of $600 (to be sold to consumers for as low as $200 in 1983). 
The Ultimax, an unexpandable 2K RAM computer, was also announced at the show for a 
suggested retail price of $149.
