ADXL202 Car Alarm Reference Design

Inclination sensing is quickly becoming a requirement for
many vehicle security systems.  The low power, highly
integrated ADXL202 is uniquely suited to this task because
of its ability to sense both static (tilt) and dynamic
(shock or vibration) acceleration.

This application note describes in detail the implementation
of a reference design for the shock and tilt sensing
function of a car alarm, built around the ADXL202. A
description of the algorithms, circuit diagram, flowcharts
